1. The board appointed Penny Brown-Huber to fill Caroline Krejci’s seat on the Board of Directors for the remainder of her term, effective at the July meeting as Krejci relocates to Texas. Krejci’s seat will be up for election in 2018. Board member Merry Rankin will now chair the board’s nominations and recruitment committee.

2. Board president Rachel Dakarian will be leaving the board in August when she moves to New York. The board approved board member Stefan Gailans to serve as board president effective August 1, 2017. Dakarian’s seat is up for election in 2017.

3. May 2017 sales were 4.31% higher than May of 2016, continuing the trend of year-to-year monthly sales growth.

4. The 2017 Meeting of the Members will be held in October, which accelerates the timeline for board elections. Candidate statements will be due August 21st.
