Congratulations and Welcome Board Members!

We would like to extend a warm welcome to Sarah S. Davis, Alex Ludolph, and Anand Balasubramanian to new three year terms on the Wheatsfield Board of Directors.

We also welcome Ava Waitek and Sophie Krivograd as our Student Board Members appointed for the 2026-2027 school year.

Ava Waitek | Undergrad Student, ISU

I care about sustainable, local food systems and want to help connecting students to Iowa State student community. As a student myself, I will bring my point of view to the conversations, one that can help Wheatsfield reach and engage more students as members or shoppers.

Sophie Krivograd | PhD Student & Grad Research Assistant, ISU

With a personal passion of sustainability and serving the community, I believe I would serve as a valued board member. I have been a student member of the Wheatsfield Co-op for one year. I currently perform research at the College of Veterinary Medicine. My work focuses on studying a putative antimicrobial peptide as antibiotic usage is currently an issue in both the agricultural and the medical field. I would love to serve on the board of directors and discuss how to improve both the co-op and spread knowledge to others regarding sustainability and science.
