Board Meeting Highlights from the July 19th Board Meeting

  • Applications are now being accepted for the 2018 Wheatsfield Board Elections. Applications are available on the Wheatsfield website and in the store, and are due Monday, Aug. 21 at 11:59 p.m. Elections will begin in-store and online in October, and will conclude at the end of the Annual Meeting on Oct. 25.
  • June was a good month for the Co-op. Nearly 23% more customers shopped than in June 2016. The Truckload Sale also provided a boost to June sales, and was the largest Truckload Sale the Co-op has every held. Thank you for shopping!
  • $1,510 was moved to the Wheatsfield Board Reversion Fund from Co-op memberships that were not in good standing (NGS) due to incomplete payment. Checks for these partial equity purchases were undeliverable, and were held for 3 years before being transferred to the Fund. The Board Reversion Fund is used at the discretion of the Board, most recently the Board used the Fund to support the Backpack Program at several local elementary schools.
  • The Board is excited for the Local Food Potluck on Saturday, Aug. 26 in the Maple Shelter at Brookside Park! The potluck runs from 5:30-8:00 p.m., with dinner beginning at 6:00. We hope to see many members there!
