Hemp is high in essential fatty acids in a well balanced ratio. It is one of the best plant based protein sources because it offers all the essential amino acids. In addition, it is a good source of iron, magnesium and zinc.

  • 1 frozen banana
  • ½ cup blueberries
  • 2 tablespoons goji berries
  • ½ teaspoon Barlean’s greens powder or a handful of spinach
  • 3 tablespoons hemp protein powder
  • 1 ½ cups almond milk
  • Optional:  Stevia to taste

Whizz all ingredients except stevia together in blender.  Taste for sweetness and add stevia if desired. (Some find this plenty sweet with just the banana).
