Here are highlights from the October 2024 Wheatsfield Board of Directors meeting:

  • Management reported that the 50th Anniversary Groovy Golden Jubilee on September 15th was a success with great attendance (approximated between 600-1,000), strong store sales, and a broad representation of co-op vendors.
  •  The annual financial review by our CPA firm went well, with few adjustments needed.
  • Wheatsfield welcomes a new cheese buyer, in addition to several new front-end staff.
  • Membership for the month of August exceeded expectations: 17 new student discount program participants and 43 new equity members.
  • Preparations were finalized for the upcoming Annual Meeting of the Members on October 15th starting at 5:30pm at Torrent Brewing Company.
  • December is Member Appreciation Month. Members should mark their calendars for the December 14th Member Appreciation Day and plan to use their tiered discount that day or at some time that is convenient during the month.
