Highlights from the May 2018 Board of Directors Meeting.

1. Applications for the Wheatsfield board of directors election will be accepted beginning on August 1, with the application window closing on August 27. Stay tuned for more information!

2. The truckload sale will be held June 15-16, and with a new format! Instead of hosting the sale in the parking lot, we will host the sale throughout the store shelves and in the warehouse space. The board and staff believe this format will improve shopper experience, increase sales, and reduce expenses.

3. The Co-op will host a series of $5 dinners this summer, each with a meat and vegetarian option. We hope this will be an affordable “night out” for families and all co-op shoppers (beer and wine may be purchased and consumed here, too!). The next dinner is Tuesday June 19, from 4:30 – 7 p.m.

4. Tiny Deck Concerts are returning to the Co-op, kicking off on Friday, June 1, from 6 – 7:30 p.m. We’ll have an area of the parking lot roped off so adult beverages purchased at the Co-op may be consumed on site.
