About WFAN

Since 1997, the Women, Food, and Agriculture Network has engaged women & non-binary farmers and land stewards in building a just and ecological food system through community power. Our network’s deepest roots are in Iowa, and now, 27 years on, we have the privilege of connecting  with members across the country who share our values of storytelling, interconnectedness, ecofeminism and justice.

To engage women in building an ecological and just food and agricultural system through individual and community power.

Vision

A vibrant, community-centered food and agricultural system in which women and other gender-marginalized people are strong leaders.
