January 30th Meeting Highlights

  • The Board welcomed a new Student Board Member, Anne Poincon, a doctoral student in Natural Resource Ecology and Management at Iowa State University. We’re looking forward to working with Anne this year!
  • New student discount program participation is up, as are student discount purchases, with nearly 300 student discount purchase transactions at the co-op in December alone.
  • The Board discussed the agenda for our upcoming Board Retreat in March that will include training on the transition of leadership, the parameters of board service and creating a strategic plan at the board level.
  • The Board reviewed and approved updates to the Board Policy for the Election of Board Members.
  • Board meeting dates and committee assignments were finalized for the 2025 Board year.
