Essential Oil Green Beauty Routine

Grapefruit & Frankincense Yoga Mist

  • 2 fl oz purified water
  • 6 drops grapefruit essential oil
  • 6 drops frankincense essential oil
  • 2 oz amber glass mist bottle

Measure water and essential oils into mist bottle, replace lid and shake until well mixed.

To use, shake bottle and mist yoga mat with 5 to 7 spritzes. Wipe clean with towel.

Or mist the airspace or your body anytime during your practice.

On-the-Go Body Mist

Toss in your purse or bag and lightly mist your skin whenever you need a renewing boost.

1/2 Tbsp Sweet Almond Oil
2 oz water
12 drops aura cacia renew blend

Mix all ingredients in a bowl until fully blended.

Pour into a 2oz mister bottle, cap and shake.

Face Mist with Lavender Essential Oil

A gentle, soothing DIY face mist recipe made with sweet almond oil and lavender essential oil.

  • 1 tsp Sweet Almond Skin Care Oil
  • 24 drops Lavender Essential Oil
  • 2 fl oz amber bottle
  • 2 fl oz water

In bottle, combine oils. Top off with water, replace lid and shake until well blended. To use, shake bottle, close eyes and mist face and neck.

Lavender Orange Body Mist

  • 3 1/5 oz. aloe juice (distilled water or green tea can be substituted)
  • 1 tsp white vinegar
  • 24 drops lavender essential oil
  • 10 drops rose absolute essential oil
  • 10 drops orange sweet essential oil
  • 6 drops geranium essential oil

Start with a clean 4 oz. mister bottle. Add 3 1/2 oz. of aloe juice, (or the substituted liquid). Next add the vinegar, and the essential oils. Shake well to mix.

To use: Shake before each use; mist body after bath or shower. This can also be used to hydrate the skin before applying body lotion.

De-Stress Skin Scrub

  • 2-3 cups Sea Salt
  • 24 drops Lavender essential oil
  • 6 drops Clary Sage essential oil
  • 6 drops Lemon essential oil

Add essential oils to salt a little at a time; add any other ingredients and mix well.
Use 3-4 tablespoons under running water.

For increased relaxation & visual interest: add pinch to 1/4 c dried lavender.

For increased skin-toning effects: add 1-2 bags of caffeinated tea
to bath salt mix (empty contents of bags) or steep like tea to drawn bath.

For luxurious skin-nourishing properties: after drawing bath and mixing in salts, pour in a cup of organic whole milk.

For Calming: Neroli + Lavender
