Change for Community

Food Co-op Initiative is a 501(c)3 non-profit, dedicated to enabling a faster and more efficient start-up process to develop new retail grocery co-ops. Food Co-op Initiative works with community groups across the United States and provides direct services and workshops, webinars and online resources. New co-ops start here.

Vision: We envision a world where every community has the power and ability to build a thriving cooperative food system that provides them with the food they need and want.
