Paella is often thought of as the national dish of Spain – the landscape of the country in a pan. Named for the pan that it is cooked in, paella is first and foremost a rice dish with the role of all of the other ingredients being to add flavor to the rice. On a recent trip to Spain, Becky watched and learned as one Spanish family showed her their take on the dish, She can’t wait to show you their methods!

Spain’s food (and the value they put on mealtimes) is very “Western European” in many ways…you have the bread, the cheese, and of course the wine!! David Thompson from Dimitri Wines will feature two indigenous Spanish whites and two different styles of tempranillo.

This class will include larger sample portions, wine and cheeses so please save an appetite for the class.

RSVPs required. Please RSVP with a cashier over the phone or on your next shopping trip. Class size limited.
