Sake is an alcoholic beverage made from fermented rice. Through interesting pictures and a video clip, Japanese cultural ambassador, Alex Akiyama will explore sake history, how it is brewed and the different types of sake (Daiginjo, Junmai, Nigori, Nama, Sparkling). In discussing sake culture participants will learn how to drink chilled and warm sake.
